Salzburg Mozarteum Foundation

The Salzburg Mozarteum Foundation, established in Salzburg, Austria in 1880, is the international center for scholarly research, performance, and promotion of the Mozart's music. The foundation maintains the Mozart library, including the Bibliotheca Mozartiana and the Mozart Archive of autographs, manuscripts, and related historical documents; edits the New Mozart Edition, now available online, scholarly studies and books of interests to Mozart enthusiasts; oversees residences and places associated with the composer which are open to the public; and produces concerts year-round, including the Mozart Woche, a festival of Mozart’s music taking place annually in late January at Salzburg.
